Hundreds Road

A large comfortable Colonial had an outdated kitchen that was inefficiently laid out with an oversized island and a “no way out” sink alcove. It also had no side entrance next to the driveway and lacked a real mudroom, which was necessary for an active family with three teenage children.  By adding a new side entrance, leading into a spacious mud room, and adding a front entry hall which brought in much light, as well as a new kitchen which is efficiently laid out with views and direct access to the back yard, this house has become a wonderfully alive place to live.  Featured in This Old House Magazine December 2010.
